What are multicolored LEDs?
These are LEDs which are able to display continuously changing color pattern illuminations when connected to the specified DC voltage.
They look quite like an ordinary white LED (transparent) externally but the above feature instantly becomes distinguishable when connected to a voltage source.
The continuosly changing illuminationed color patterns are also accompanied with random fast and slow change rates making the device truly dazzling with colors.
A beautiful LED string light out of these LEDs can be made to produce some truly beaming and flashing color scattering effect.
Simply join all the LEDs lead to lead,
Once the string is completed, it now just requires to be integrated with the first transformerless power supply circuit explained in the following link.
Don't forget to remove the zener diode from the above transformer;ess power supply circuit so that the string light is able to get full supply voltage from the AC mains.
THE CIRCUIT MAY CARRY LIVE MAINS VOLTAGES, SO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHILE TESTING THE CIRCUIT.
On powering the string, the LEDs will instantly come on, displaying wonderful illuminated color patterns. The colors can be found switching to different patterns and also flashinging intermitently. The flashing is also through random rates and change from fast to slow automaticatically.
